Averie was so cute opening her first present, being very careful and putting the wrappings in a nice little pile. She did that for the first few and then she went to town.....not caring what is inside the wrapped present, just ripping off the paper and moving on to the next one. (Good thing most of the presents had her name on them).
We spent Christmas Eve night in Goshen at my parents house only to be awakened (by Michael) about every half hour during the night. We finally agreed to get out of bed and wake the girls up at about 6:00 a.m.
Christmas Eve night Averie was so riled up, it's a tradition in my family to sprinkle reindeer food outside on the front lawn which is a combination of oatmeal, and cookie sprinkles. Averie was so excited. We then made some fresh warm chocolate chip cookies and left them with a cold glass of milk for santa. A few minutes later there was a familiar christmas eve knock at the front door. Santa had left all of us some new P.J's!
We had a very good Christmas and we enjoyed spending alot of time with our family. We hope you all had a Merry Christmas and we wish you a Happy New Year!!!
