Brandon was scheduled to sit 3 days of reserve (on call) in Las Angeles and asked if I wanted to come along. So I took to opportunity to go with him and spend some quality time with out the kids. I'm grateful that my mom and dad love the kids so much and are always willing to take them! So early Saturday morning at 3:45 am we headed to the airport to catch our flight to L.A. The L.A. airport is HUGE!!! Brandon was on ready reserve for a couple of hours Saturday morning so we had to stay in the airport, we walked all over that place looking in all of the shops and I could not believe how big that airport is. But this is us.... just sitting around
Brandon out in front of the airport.
We walked to the Hotel from the airport and we walked right through this big beautiful garden area that separated the Hotel's from the airport
Relaxing on the cozy sleep number bed!
The beautiful hotel that we stayed in.
We walked around Saturday evening and and the sunset was so pretty. Brandon found a 20 dollar bill on the ground he really has all the luck when it comes to things like that! The city lights were amazing!
We ate dinner on the roof top of the Hotel in this fabulous restaurant!
This is a little taste of the view...
We were trying to show the view behind us.
We had such a great time! It was so nice to have this time together alone, we talked and laughed and caught up on things that we never have time to talk about! The best part was that we were never interrupted by kids it was great!
Well, Brandon will be in L.A. for one more day and then he's off to Fresno until Wednesday. He will have a 3 day break this week... HOORAY!!! I'm so excited!!!

I tell ya hospitals and airports have some of the coolest gifts in their shops.

I'm glad you were able to have your parents watch your kids so you could be with your man. You both look so happy.

It's hard being a pilot's wife - but there are perks too! Glad you guys got to have a little getaway. Kjell and I are thinking about heading up to Park City one of these days:)

I'm glad you found me!! Thanks... I got the dresses at Dillards, when they were having a huge sale. With three kids, I'm always looking for a bargain.
Your blog is really cute!
