Thanksgiving and a few more things...

We had a great Thanksgiving holiday! Brandon was able to sit in SLC on wed and thurs for his reserve shift, which meant that he was able to be at home and just be ready on call if they needed him. SkyWest never called him into fly so he got to spend an extra two days home with us. It was GREAT!!! So Thursday we spent Thanksgiving with Brandon's family in Magna and Friday we celebrated Thanksgiving with my famiy that was great because we did it on Friday so that we could all be there together, otherwise some of my cousins would have also been at there in-laws as well. Later that night a few of us got together to go and see Twilight. I liked it pretty well however... I was dissiapointed because it's not as good as the book! But what can you expect the movie would be way long if it had that much detail right?
Today Brandon's aunt Karen was sealed to her husband and baby in the Provo temple. I was able to go help her get ready in the brides room. I'm so happy that they were finally able to go be sealed as a family. They were both married before and she had two boys from her first marriage and he had three boys. So together they have 6 boys! But his kids are all grown and gone so it's not too crazy...
Well then it was back to the airport again to take Brandon to work. He has the WORST schedule for December! I'm really sad because he will be missing all of our usual Christmas parties and also he'll be gone all through Christmas. I guess I just need to be happy that it worked out for him to be home for Thanksgiving.

I'm so glad your hubby was able to be with you for Thanksgiving but oh so sad he will not be for Christmas. You are a good and brave girl to be trying to look at things positively and for being grateful for the time you do have together.

One of many things I am learning right now is living in the moment. Seizing the moment! You are doing a good job of that!

Hugs from down the street... :o)

What a great Thanksgiving! I hope your Christmas is fun, even with your hubby flying during this time of year.
