Busy bee

Life has been super crazy around here lately. You would think that we would have so much extra time on our hands because I'm a stay at home mom, but I really don't! I always feel rushed and pushed for time. There are never enough hours in a day for me to do the things that I want to do. Each night while laying in bed I make a "To do" list for the next day. I usually have things carried over from the day before though because I can never seem to finish everything! I've been in the spring cleaning mood lately so I've been working on organizing closets, kitchen cabinets, washing walls, baseboards etc. It feels so good to get it done. I've also had alot of projects going on with the girls. I've still got tons of things on my list to complete, on top of the regular housework that is never ending! But it's good, I would rather be busy than bored.

Being pregnant this go around has been alot different than with my girls. I get really bad headaches, it's a constant headache really but at certain points in the day it gets worse. My doctor says that it's all the testosterone in my body. Who knows... But things are going good and time seems to be going by fast! I still can't believe that we are having a boy, we are so excited! Today I got some super cute airplane material to make a blanket, so I'll post a picture as soon as it gets done. I have got to say though that there are far cuter girl clothes than boy clothes. I guess I never noticed before because I didn't have to.
Alot of my friends/cousins are pregnant right now so it's fun to talk to them about all of this and share our excitement with eachother.

You are so organized. I can never seem to get anything on my to-do list done and I'm not pregnant or a mother at all. LOL.

And P.S. I actually LOVE shopping for little boy clothes. I have three nephews and one niece and have gotten used to the boy thing. Little boys in sweater vests are the cutest things ever. :)

hmmmm...maybe that's why I've gotten really bad headaches when I'm pregnant with my boys, I always thought it was lack of sleep. Anyways try advil liquid gels, my dad said after the 2nd trimester they are fine and for me they are the ONLY medicine that takes away my headache within a very short time.

I think boys clothes are way cuter than girls and when there is a sale on baby clothes boys clothes never go first. Try Baby Gap they have really good sales & Nordstrom Rack in Sandy. The headaches are the worst.

I totally know how you feel! We are "stay at home and WORK our tush off moms"- that's more like it! I think Jared imagines me at home sitting on the couch stuffing bon bons in my mouth while watching oprah! Yeah, in my DREAMS! BUt I would never trade it for anything!
I love being busy when I am prego... Just keep doing what your doing and keep having things to accomplish and look foward to and pretty soon you will blink your eyes and he will be walking!

I just caught up on your blog - congrats on having a boy! Yay! Also, I totally understand about not getting the things done on your list. It always takes me 3 times as long as I think.
