Bridal Shower

I thought that I had just saved this post, but I guess I published it without finishing it... I started and then got busy with the kids, so now I'm back to finish!

On Saturday I was lucky enough to host a Bridal Shower for my mother-in-law Diana. I had alot of fun coming up with a theme and planning and putting it together.

This is Diana and Fernando the groom. Fern showed up and surprised her with these beautiful roses!

We had so much fun watching her open her presents and we had some good laughs too...

We played the game where I asked them each questions about each other and if they got the question wrong, they had to eat a piece of gum. I bet you can guess how they did...

A few people had already left by the time we decided to gather for a group picture, but we still got a good shot! These are her very entertaining friends!

And this my friends, is my dessert tables! (sorry the pictures would not turn the right way!)

The shower went great! We had a lot of fun. I'm soooo happy for Diana, Fernando is the most perfect man for her and I wish them an eternity of happiness.

You are so creative...I could never pull that stuff off. So, to answer your questions...I got Brianna's hat at Children's place. I was there the other day and they still had them! I am feeling rather sick, but surviving! I think we should plan a play date for the girls. Brianna would love it!

There's nothing like a table full of decorated sweets.

Thanks guys! I was fun...

Val, definitely let get the girls together! You are always welcome to call me and I can come get her for a few hours so that you can rest or run errands or whatever. I'm sorry you are feeling sick! Let me know though...

Nat! I'm always craving those babies.

You did a pretty great job putting together this event. Your treat table looked pretty yum too. I've never heard of the game where you eat gum for missed answers.. Those were big wads of gum. Looks like they hardly know anything about each other. Hormones aren't like brains. They don't store memory. No wonder :)
