Averie is a HUGE fan of sleeping in a tent... she asks us all the time when we can sleep outside in the tent. So we finally decided to just go for it! The girls were so excited that it was hard to get them to settle down and just go to sleep. But it was super fun to do that as a family even if it was just in the back yard!

ahhh look at my babies! I woke up to check on everyone and this is how they were sleeping so I took a picture and then Averie woke up because the darn flash was sooo bright!

Do you know how many of these we've done? It always ends the same. Dad and mom can't sleep because we're too busy covering everyone up all night. The kids sure love it! I can remember sleeping in a tent in our yard or fields as a kid and thinking it was the best. Because we lived in the country my parents would let us keep the tent up for a week or so. We'd "camp" out there until we'd moved half the house into the tent and then it was time to clean it all up and move back into our bedrooms.....I hated that part...

I bet your girls had a blast! I always enjoyed "camping" out on the lawn. Julie... we still need to get together I am so sorry we haven't called you guys yet! This summer has been crazy busy! I promise we aren't trying to avoid you!
