The day flew by before I knew it! It started out with Averie going to preschool, at about 15 to the hour I got a phone call from her teacher. Averie got a bloody nose, she wanted me to know so that if I was planning on going anywhere after I picked her up that I could bring her a new shirt. I picked her up, changed her clothes and all was well.
I had an Activity Day planning meeting today. It went well, the girls had a lot of great ideas. After the meeting we made ice cream sundays they were a BIG hit!
It has rained off and on all day today, these kinds of days are my FAVORITE!!! I absolutely love this time of the year. This is the kind of day where you want to cozy up on the couch with a blanket and a good book.
The girls are great, Averie is learning so much at preschool... she comes home and tells me all about her day and what she learned. She always empties out her back pack and shows off her work. She is very proud of it... she almost always gets a EXCELLENT sticker on her homework.
Kaylie is amazing... I really enjoy the alone time that I've been getting with her. Her personality really comes out when she's alone. She is so much fun and growing up so fast. I can't believe it! Today she came to me and pulled my finger to follow her... so I did and she led me to the bathroom and pointed to the toilet. Of course I ignored her because HELLO she's only 16 months old! And sure enough seconds later she pooped her pants. I couldn't help but to start laughing. Then she started laughing... ya know because I was.
Overall it's been a good day and I'm crossing my fingers that you will be able to come home tomorrow!
I love you Mr. Nixon and I miss you SO MUCH!
